5 Fandom Friday - Games I Love To Play

It's currently 6 am. In a couple hours I'll be at C2E2!! I had planned on writing this post ahead of time, but alas, April is kicking my butt. Ah well, here's some games I love to play!!

1: There

My house

My There Best Friend

Hanging out

My most favorite game to play. There is the name of an online social game. (There, btw, has a terrible name... it is so hard to google anything There related.) I've been playing in There since late 2004. They shut down for a year or so a few years back, but they've since returned and I'm super glad they did. I love this game.

I'm not a super social person, but I have a couple of select There friends I love hanging out with, and when they're not around, I enjoy my time alone, either by hanging out and listening to music at my house, hopping on a vehicle and going joy riding, exploring new places, or checking out the auctions for new clothes.

Two times a year there's a There Games, (Winter or Summer) and people all come online at certain times that week to play together to try and win the most points in games to get first place. We're sorted by our nametag color. I'm purple. And purple won the There Winter Games this past February. Woot!

5 Fandom Friday - Another catch up day

Today I won't be doing Favorite Theme Park Rides, because it's been years since I've been to a theme park, and therefore I don't really know if my faves are my favorites anymore, nor do I think I have 5 favorite rides. *shrug*

So today I'll be doing:

Characters I'd Love To Dress Up As For Halloween (or cosplay if I ever cosplayed...)

1: Inara Serra

From Firely/Serenity. My favorite of her outfits are her pale gold dress from Shindig, and the red dress in Serenity.

2: Maud Pie

I love Maude. She speaks to me on so many levels.

Story time!!

In high school I had a Pet Rock keychain that I brought with me everywhere. Often during class, I'd open up the little crate so Chris could get more light. Yep, my rock's name was Chris.

In Economics, my teacher was talking about the ridiculousness that were Pet Rocks and Cabbage Patch Dolls, so the next day I showed him my Pet Rock. He gave a small giggle like a little girl, (which was not something he did ever) and once he learned my rock's name was Chris, he asked if he could borrow it for a day.

In class, he showed my Pet Rock with flourish and excitement. And then he shared that his favorite thing about my pet rock was that I named my rock Chris. And then he asked the class why I would name the rock Chris.

A guy in the back guessed "Chris Rock", which was actually cute, but I hadn't thought of that. And neither had my teacher, because he screamed "NO!!!" and then he pointed at me and said "Why did you name your Pet Rock Chris?"

I don't like... attention, or being called on, which was why I waited until we were not in class to share my rock with the teacher. So, very quietly, I said, "Because I didn't know if it was a boy or a girl..."

Which was apparently the right answer, because he repeated me, and then went on about the ridiculousness of the Pet Rock again.

3: Effie Trinket

From Hunger Games! Her hair, makeup, and outfits are all so crazy awesome! I wouldn't mind wearing any of her outrageous costumes, except mayhaps that *shudders* butterfly one.

4: Abby Sciuto

I have wanted to be Abby from NCIS for Halloween for years and years. But I want to do it right, and that would require a lab coat, platform shoes, and Hot Topic-ish jewelry = not something I can afford right now. Plus wearing a temporary tattoo of a spiderweb on my neck. Someday!!!

5: Giselle

From Enchanted! Okay... maybe not the wedding dress... only because it just looks like a nightmare to wear. But it's soooo pretty!! I also love her dress she made from the curtains! ♥

Iggle Squiggle plays Sims 4

I've started playing Sims 4 again, after some breaks. It took me a while to get used to the changes they made for Sims 4 versus Sims 3. Even so, I still keep wanting to play Sims 3 instead. Eh.

Anyhoo, I decided to try some of those user made challenges, and decided to blog my attempts!

The first challenge I tackled was the 100 Baby Challenge.

My first Matriarch for the 100 Baby Challenge

My second Matriarch and one of her kids.
I'll go back to this challenge, but right now I've stopped at 18 babies. lol. It was burning me out, and I think I'll wait until I'm done with the challenge I moved on to before continuing this one.

I moved on to the Runaway Teen Challenge, which is much more chill and so much easier to play.

My teen, Andy Collins (with her guardian behind her)

Andy's looking for frogs! lol

The thing is, while I did want to blog about these challenges, I wasn't took keen on throwing it on this blog. So I created a new blog, just for my Sims 4 posts.

Interested? (probably not. lol)

Check it out at   Iggle Squiggle 4

Tada!!! A Funko Pop, some MLP Lip Gloss, an ADORABLE mod podged MLP picture frame, an MLP blind bag, a card, and some M&M's!

I closed the box of M&M's for this picture, but it was the first thing I opened, and then munched on the M&M's while opening the rest of the presents. lol.

Here's a couple of individual piccies of some of the things...

Look at the cute card!!

Cruella DeVille!! HECK YEAH. So awesome! ♥

5 Fandom Friday - 5 Magical Items I Would Love To Own

I'm going to limit myself to the Harry Potter universe, because there's plenty to choose from within there!! A wand won't be on this list. As reality would have it, I am not a witch, and therefore would not be able to use a wand. I know I could just throw in "a wand plus the ability to use it", but nah, I'm sticking to these other items.

Again, in not much of an order:

1: A Two Way Mirror

How neat would it be to have a set of mirrors that you can use to communicate with someone? No need to tweet or text or skype or snapchat...  I would totally want that. The only problem I'd foresee would be who to give the other mirror to. Maybe my guy when he travels for his work? An iggle maybe? I have an online buddy who has trouble keeping in touch, maybe he should get the other mirror? I don't know, but I want it.

2: Harry's Invisibility Cloak

The ability to just throw a cloak on and be invisible? Yes please. Attention triggers anxiety. If I could just go invisible sometimes, that'd be so great!

3: An action figure

Or a model. You know, that action figure Ron had of Victor Krum? Or the little models of the dragons? I love toys and action figures already, but if they moved around on their own? Too cool. I don't know what action figure or model I'd want, though a dragon is certainly tempting. I just know I'd want one.

4: A Nimbus 2000, 2001, or other lovely flying broom

Heck yeah I want a flying broom. In fact, my definition of "lovely flying broom" is synonymous with "any flying broom". I don't care how it looks, or even how well it flies - I can work with what I get. I want a flying broom.

5: Hermione's Purse

Alright, so I saved my most wanted item for last. Hermione's bag. Or any bag with that undetectable extension charm on it, really. I tend to switch between a mediumish purse to a large tote bag depending on the day... I have hoarder qualities, and "better safe than sorry" thoughts. I mean, who knows when I might spontaneously see a 3D movie and get a headache from the 3D-ness?? I need to keep my 2D glasses on me at all times! And this purse could hold anything! If it's super cold and I'm going to a con but don't want to bring my heavy coat? Well, BAM, now I can and just tuck it right in to my bag when I'm not using it! Spending the night at a friend's house and don't want to call dibs on the awful couch? BAM - I just packed an inflatable bed, pump, and extra pillows and bedding! Going on a trip oversees? No need for luggage - all I need is this lovely bag! Oh man, that would be fanta-bulous.

So, tell me, what kind of magical items are on your wishlist? ♥

March Tiny Birthday Swap Part 1 - What I sent my swap buddy

So for March, there were three Iggle Swaps and I only signed up for one - the Tiny Birthday Swap.

All you had to do was send some birthday gifts to a swap buddy. I tried to keep my gifts "tiny".

I was busy in March, but I didn't realize how busy I was, and as a result, I wasn't able to do everything I wanted to do for this swap, but I'm still happy with what I ended up getting.

First, for March's Iggle Paint Live, we painted the IGGPPC logo freehand. So I thought it would be cool to do that for the birthday card:

Of course, I didn't do this one live. I like how it turned out.

It just wasn't enough though, so I added some confetti and a birthday hat:

 Hee. Much better.

And here's all I sent:

1: Birthday Cake M&Ms - I've never tried them, so I don't know if they're any good, but I hope they are, because I got the bigger bag of them!  M&M's are tiny candies no matter what size bag you get, so that's how I justified the bigger gift. LOL.

2: Slinky Jr. - a mini slinky!

3: A Supernatural anti possession button - I picked this up at Fan Fest Chicago last month, and when my swap buddy mentioned she liked Supernatural, of course I had to send it.

4: Stationery - My swap buddy said she liked pastel colors, so I tried to find something that fit. This is probably not "tiny", but I do think the paper is a bit smaller than what's usually considered normal for stationery, yeah?

5: Happy Gum (For Your Crappy Life) - a small pack of gum! The name of it made me smile, so I had to pick one up.

6: My Little Pony Lip Balm - Originally, I had grabbed a pack of mini Hello Kitty gel pens. This was before I got my swap buddy.... who informed me she wasn't a fan of Hello Kitty. Oops. She does like My Little Pony though! Soooo I grabbed this to replace the HK.

7: Some hair ties - I found these at the mall, where I picked up the gum. I like this style of hair tie, and these were on sale, so I picked some up for myself and grabbed some for my swap buddy too.

8: Washi Tape - because they tend to be small anyhow, so of course I had to send washi tape.

9: A mini bottle of bubbles - because they're festive, right? It's not a birthday party without balloons or bubbles!

10: Travel size lotion -  ROFL, I feel like this is out of place, but when I think "tiny" I always think of the travel size section of the store. So I had to pick something from there, and toothpaste or deodorant seemed inappropriate. XD

11: Hot Chocolate - I was originally going to wrap a couple of tea bags when I realized I should probably ask if she likes tea first. She responded that she was more of a hot chocolate person, so I was super glad I double checked. I like Hot Chocolate too! That Caramel Delight is my fave at the moment.

12: Puffy cat stickers - I hope she likes cats, or at least, likes cute cat stickers. lol.

13: Caviar beads - for nails or crafting, she said she liked pastel pinks and purples, and these were the closest colors I had for those.

14: Tiny penny earrings - I made these from Nixon Pennies, and I love my pair, so I hope she likes hers!

15: Pocket Pops Daryl and Harley - On her list of fave fandoms, she had The Walking Dead, and on her list of fave heroes/villains, she had Harley Quinn. Originally I was going to just get Harley, because I didn't know Daryl was a Pocket Pop too. But there he was, just chilling right above Batman. So of course I grabbed him too!

There you have it! My tiny birthday package! I wrapped them in two different wrapping papers, and I might have also thrown in a party blower, I can't remember - I know I had planned on throwing one in, but I can't remember if I actually did. lol.

Next week, what I got from my buddy! ♥

Fictional Crush Swap Part 2 - What I got from my swap buddy

Last week, I talked about what I sent for the Fictional Crush Swap. Today I thought I'd share what I received from the swap!

I got this package a couple days before I was able to send out my parcel. So I decided to wait a bit before opening it.

Inside was an adorable mishmash of items, all from a handful of my crushes! Here's what I got:

5 Fandom Friday - Five Times I Totally Fangirled

Another 5 Fandom Friday!! Exactly what this topic is, I'm unsure, so I'm hoping I'm doing it right. ROFL. So here we are... in no particular order:

Fictional Crush Swap Part 1 - What I sent my swap buddy

Happy April Fool's Day! Ha. No jokes here though, today I'm talking about another iggle swap from February - the fictional crush swap.

Here's some of the details on the iggle swap page:

I just KNOW if *insert your favorite character here* was real, you two would be bffs! Basically what happens in this swap is you are sending (& receiving!) a package as if it is from a character beloved by the recipient. If your swappee loves Han Solo, you get to imagine what he would send her & what he would say. If you love Peeta, maybe he’d send you some carefully-frosted cookies! Y’know, Hagrid knits– I bet he’d send his sweetie something hand-made! There’s a lot of room for creativity, so you & your partner can chatter away about the characters you love & why, then assemble packages of much affection to treasure forever.

I guess this swap scared a lot of people. But me? I was excited! I signed up immediately.

It took my partner and me a couple of days to think up our list of crushes. But I eventually sent a list of nine, and she sent me eight. And one of the guys on my partner's list spoke out to me.
